B.C. Buildberg Attendee Promoted

I do know this may be about a week old, but for our world viewers, it is new news.

Gordon Muir Campbell (born January 12, 1948) is a Canadian diplomat and politician, who is currently serving as Canadian High Commissioner to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.[1] He previously served as the 34th Premier of British Columbia from 2001 to 2011. Campbell is also a former real estate developer and teacher. He was the leader of the British Columbia Liberal Party, which was re-elected for a third term on May 12, 2009 and which holds a majority in the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia. This was only the fourth instance of any party achieving this in British Columbia. Trained as a teacher, his political career began as executive assistant to Vancouver Mayor Art Phillips until 1976. He worked as a development manager and developer until 1986, when he became the 35th Mayor of Vancouver.

2011 brought Gordon to the Builberg meeting in Switzerland and within a short period of time, his promotion was announced.

The list of attendees from Canada seems short but it holds very prominent politicians:

Pierre Elliott Trudeau,[91] Prime Minister of Canada, 1968–1979, 1980–1984
Jean Chrétien (1996),[46] Prime Minister of Canada, 1993–2003
